"I’m very happy with the new multitool ARC. Is my 4th Leatherman in 15 years period. This new version is really worthy."
"I bought the ARC last week. It is an amazing multi tool but the grey sheath is too big for the arc. I really wondering why leatherman made this mistake"
"This grey nylon sheath for the Leatherman Arc gets the job done, but it definitely leaves room for improvement. On the plus side, it securely holds the Arc, with enough space for the bit kit and a few extra items in the side pockets. The snap closure feels strong and the nylon material seems durable. However, the sheath is noticeably oversized for the Arc, making for a bulky carry experience. While it does fit on my belt, there's quite a bit of wiggle room in the belt loop, which feels a bit insecure. Honestly, the overall quality of the sheath doesn't seem match the premium feel of the Arc itself. would have expected something a bit more refined to accompany such a well-made multitool. Overall, it's a decent enough sheath, but the Oversized fit and somewhat loose belt loop nold it back from a higher rating. If you're looking for a more streamlined and secure carry option, you might want to consider a different sheath."
"Im not happy that this sheath came with the ARC. There's way too much room inside of it. The ARC fits perfectly in my medium black sheath but no room for bits. . . . . When you pay 230 dollars for a multi tool it should have a sheath that fits the tool. I shouldn't have to pay an additional 20 for a decent sheath. . . I feel like this was their intention. There's absolutely no way they actually thought this sheath would be a good option for the ARC. I really hope that they make this right somehow. If this wasn't the perfect tool I'd just return it. I can guarantee you I'll have a custom sheath made before I give Leatherman an additional 20 bucks for a sheath that fits the tool without a bunch of slop. I'm pretty disappointed. Not a fan of the rubber lettering either it just looks cheap."
"Sheath came with my ARC purchase. It has slots for 2 bit holders, but I only use one. That being said it fits perfect and is easy to get the ARC in and out with one hand when the other hand is holding what I"m working on. The slots on the sides hold my bit extension and ratchet driver. The only downside I have found is that the ratchet driver has fallen out on me once, but I think I had put it in with the bulky end towards the bottom, I have started making sure I slide it in with the bulky end towards the top and it doesn't seem like it will slide out now. I think over time the ratchet driver might stretch out the material and eventually get loose over time, but if I put in the same way every time I think it will hold up. The only suggestion I would make would be to have some type of bottom "pocket" that the extension or ratchet driver could bottom out in and prevent them from sliding out. Excellent rating for comfort and ease of use Gave good rating for quality only because I think it will wear out like most sheaths but will probably not last as long as a good leather sheath (but you wouldn't be able to get the same features with a leather sheath)."
"I got the grey sheath with free p4. It is a good quality sheath, but rubber lettering started to get rubbed off from the patch almost immediately to the point when I just cut the whole thing off. I still use the sheath it’s holding on good, snap button operates well too"
"The only thing worse than trying to get my ARC into this stupid sheath is trying to get the knife OUT of it in the first place. The sheath is too deep, knife sits below top of the sheath, you can't get ahold of the knife to remove it. Hand stitching sides of sheath to the bottom helped but STILL NEEDED TO CUT PEICES OF FOAM FILLER TO TAKE UP EXTRA SPACE AT BOTTOM OF SHEATH. Hopefully the elastic sides stretch out enough eventually to not need both hands to get knife into sheath. Problem then will be to stop stretching before becoming blown out saggy bag on a belt. This sheath is bad enough that i may put my brand new knife in drawer and carry my old Wave instead and hope to find decent aftermarket sheath in the future. Never thought i'd say that about a leatherman product."
"Comes with the Arc, way too big. I'm buying a medium sized case, as it fits in my Charge case just fine."
"Sheath came with the Arc and is way too large for Arc. There is about a 1 inch gap between the top of the tool and the sheath. Really weird looking and functionality."
"This sheath came with my new Arc; I saw that the standalone didn't have any reviews, so I figured I'd throw in my two cents. I've been carrying my Arc in this sheath for about a week now and it really tops off the experience. The tool fits perfectly in the center pocket, with the bit kit behind it, and two center sleeves on the sides (one will eventually hold the bit ratchet, and the other I use to hold a pocket air nozzle). the construction feels great, with no concerns in the first week."
