Customers praise the Carbide Glass Breaker Bit for its perfect fit in various tools and kits, including the Leatherman Arc. The tool is appreciated for its flat head design, though some users prefer a Philips head. It serves as a great addition to any multitool with a bit holder.

"I received this bit with great hopes on testing if it works as promised. Unfortunately carbide part was missing. I contacted Leatherman and response was that you get back to me. This was a month ago and I still not have heard anything, despite second attempt to get into contact. See photo for further details."
"Broke after a few minutes"
"It works like charm. Now my alien babies can escape from the cryosleep pods!"
"Very pleased"
"I bought this for my skeletool and the flathead works great. Luckily, I haven't needed to use the glass breaker yet, but it looks like it will work just fine. Side Note: The steel used for the whole bit is harder than any of the other Leatherman ones. So, it doesn't strip as easily. I know the tip is tungsten carbide, but the rest is a little different from the bit kit. (I think. )"
"I like the tool, but I primarily use a Phillips on my skeletool. I like that the skeletool has a place to store another bit but getting it out of there when I need to break a window might be difficult. I would rather always have my Phillips loaded with the glass breaker on the other side ready to go in a much easier position to access in case of an emergency"
"Bought the Carbide Glass Breaker Bit for my new Leatherman ARC multitool since I also carry the Sight Adjuster. I was wary at first due to the disclaimer of it being designed for the Skeletool and not listed in the “works with” section, but it does fit within the ARC bit driver, and the bit clears the angle stop designed to keep the bits from falling out when using the ARC’s striking surface as well."
"I bought this to use with my wave but I think I will keep it on my mut since the mut has space for extra bits. This makes a perfect addition to any multitool with a bit holder that can totally transform the tool into a life saving piece of kit in an emergency. I recommend this to anyone with a bit holder leatherman."
"Really like it, the flat head is nice and broad. But wish it had a Philips head instead of a flat head. I’d buy another one if they came out with a Philips head and carbide bit"
