It has all the necessities (knife and pliers) and no unnecessary tools taking up space which makes it the best everyday carry for me. I did have to get some replacement bits as they broke over time but that has been the only issue."

"Knife is same great quality of all Leatherman knives. My only gripe with this one is the Bit choices for the screwdriver. Two flat head's , #1 Phillips and the glass cutter tip. If your dropping a screwdriver bit to make room for the glass cutter drop one of the flat head bits not the most popular and used #2 Phillips bit. Love the 154cm serrated blade for doing networking wire work makes stripping/cutting wires easier. Would give it a 5 star if it came with a #2 Phillips bit."
Great introduction leatherman
"Long time leatherman user. My go to edc is my wave+. The RX is a great introduction multi-tool for the young ones or for hiker or fishermen. It's also is a great truck knife. Comfortable to hold. Cons are the pliers are small, I can't see them being useful in as many things as say the waves or rebar etc but handy still. Would be nice if the wire cuter where changeable. I think it it came with a tonto blade that would be a bit better. With all this said it's still a great knife I'm just nit picking. Also I found this one left out in the bed of one of our work trucks. It was rusted up badly. Pliers barely opened and couldn't be used one handed. After a bit of wire brushing and 2 day soak in penitrating oil looks and works like it's almost new out the box, which goes to show the quality of leatherman. Glad to add this to my nice little collection of leatherman as this is number 13 plus that I've owned and one of 6 I currently own."

"Overall the Skeletool RX performs well! My only complaint is the screwdriver bit, I’ve been through two already and they’ve only been used to remove license plate bolts. I’ve bent both of them with very little force."

"Love this tool keep with my bug out bag and first aid backpack, the belt clip keeps it secure to my medipac and the bright red color makes it easy to find. This is just one of many Leatherman tools I use. My EDC is REV. before that the Super Tool 200 and a Crater 33cx."

"Hope. not hits one. it's a keeper. I carry it almost every day. Besides being very handy, it is much lighter than my Surge, my Wave+s, and my Rebar I traded the glass breaker bit for a standard one that came with my CX. Most of the red paint is still on it. The blade on my is 154 cm. (That's the steel not the blade size. This is a wonderful tool."
