"I had the wingman - a trusted companion in all my work. Worked flawlessly, but I lost it. Bought the skeletool to only use the neccessary tools i need. But alas… The pliers stick and dont move freely, even after oiling. The grip hurts when applying a lot of force because of the design. The pliers themselves are small and feel a bit cheap. The knife is fine as usual. What happened leatherman?"
"Excellent tool. Light, simple and comfortable through sturdy and strong. I needed a multitool than I can wear every day without discomfort. All you need is a quality knife, a plier with ability to cut and a screwdriver with a good quality bit. Anything more is unnecessary and adds mass and discomfort. My only concern is losing the screwdriver bit, since it is possible to pull out without unlocking the retainer."
"I've had it for two weeks or so. The knife is good. The plyer works. I'm optimistic, but considering the Wave I bought a few years ago which was terrible quality I don't know who produced the steel but it was terrible, let's see. I'm a cattle farmer so it's going to be used a lot. By the way, you should market the skeletool to cowboys. It's exactly what we need which is why I got it. All I need is a good knife, a pliers which can cut barbed wire and a screwdriver. Brilliant little thing I love it"
"Awesome multitool with simple useful parts, but it's light."
"I got this multitool as a present. The very first important thing for me is the quality of the knife. When that is good (10/10), we can talk about the other features. I am amazed how handy those features that are on this multitool. Obv, not 20+, but that few are outstanding. I really like the compact size that it is not bulky, so it is easy to carry."
"Excellent service and quality"
"This is my 3rd Skeletool. Very good small tool that you barely notice that its there, in your pocket. One thing that i don't see any use of is the pocket clip. I carry it upside down in my jeans pocket, through the carabiner clip, fits and stays well hidden, deep inside the pocket. I think Leatherman hit the nail with this one."
"Good overall!"
"Great design, even the look. Great you can customize. Perfect gift."
"I have several leathermans and 1 victorinox. While the skeletool lacks in number of tools, it delivers in ease of carry, and the tools it has are the most used. The only tool I missed in it is the package opener that I have on my T4, the knife fills the spot, but I don't like messing with its sharpness just to cut packages open."
